Selecting Serialize..., under the Templates menu, allows you to add a step value to a series of labels, eliminating the need to type each one manually.
1. Start by selecting New Text Field, Serialize....
2. Enter the variables into each of the fields as desired. CoStar App provides an example.
3. Enter the Step Value. This is the amount by which you would like the Start value to increase or decrease.
4. Enter the Before and After values. These are constant values and should be treated as text.
5. Select one of the options given under Format to change the format of the Start amount, such as from a dollar value to a percentage.
6. You may verify that your labels will read correctly, in the Output: field.
